I'm convinced God wasn't present when we thought of these. Repulsive yet somehow delicious. Okay.. maybe not delicious.. but they hit A spot. Dunno what spot it is, but they hit it. Does anyone else take a shot of the juice afterwards?

What's your guilty pleasure food/snack?

A whole thing of canned black olives

  2. Pagnus_Melrose

It’s just so hard to believe that any part of that “meat” came from a once living organism

  3. DihydrogenMonoxide__

bitter gourd / ampalaya in my language

  4. Ahhh, childhood memories. I might buy a can just for nostalgia. Probably haven’t had these in over 50 years. Next up, potted meat.

  5. Used-Perception395

Tapatio, just like pure tapatio, just straight up

  6. Embarrassed_Sort_277

I knew i wasnt the only one, i have eaten these “sausages” since i was a child.

  7. Posterize4VC

Pan fry them for them to go from hitting A spot to hitting THE spot.

  8. The first one is good, then every one after that gets worse and worse.

  9. Bannedagain8

So i liked these as a kid, but now, as an adult, they don’t really taste like…food? I don’t know how to describe it. Kind of like spices and staleness and weird jarred baby food.

this. my dog loves the juice on her dry food, then we split the sausages, 3:4 or 4:3 depending on the day

I see guilt, but where’s the pleasure?

    >Does anyone else take a shot of the juice afterwards?

May God have mercy on your soul.

Mine is ice cream sandwiches. Not the fancy bougie ones you sometimes see these days, the cheapest, most artificially flavored ice cream sandwiches available. Every once in a while I’ll buy a box of six and shamefully eat all of them alone in the dark.

Viener wieners! My childhood camp food. Will never eat them again until an apocalypse demands it of me, but i have fond memories of them

  13. MlCOLASH_CAGE

when it comes to vienna sausage territory its mostly grinded up hooves, bones and parts that would make a grown man shudder.

But not too different from cheap hot dogs, texture is about the same

  14. my dad used to give these “sockages” (as we, 4 year olds called them) to my siblings when we were little. my mom was upset but my dad’s reasoning was just “but they like them.” i told a friend abt this and it was a mutual experience. i dream of these tiny dissolving meat logs.

  15. niketyname

I can’t help but buy one of these when I’m making my quarterly trip to the dollar store

  16. Miltonrupert

Real Vienna sausage connoisseurs take the juice as a shot to end this exquisite meal,

  17. Blaubeerchen27

As a viennese, I have to ask, what the heck is that?

  18. GroundbreakingTea182

no thanks but you know what mine is? the box with the can of buffalo chicken salad with crackers, i friggen love those. oh and pepperoni pizza rolls. what about canned hash, mmmmm.

  19. Roscoe_P_Trolltrain

Not sure if this qualifies, or maybe it does so astoundingly, but raw top ramen all crushed and shaken up with the flavor packet.

  20. Alissan_Web

love vienna sausages, sardines and black olives. There so many great canned snacks out there

  21. lean_lawd

been eating those little bastards since i was a kid too haha. had a can earlier this week actually. usually i’ll pan fry em up now and add them to either ramen or mac and cheese. i also love pickled eggs lol. i eat some very questionable shit that’s for sure, but i make sure no one sees me doing it.

  22. More_Soda

I bought one can from Walmart once for Ramen, it tasted like a sandy sausage literally shit was nasty , do they all taste like that ?

  23. Definitelymostlikely

Why do people eat these straight out the can?

  24. katycolleenj

Deviled ham is mine. I used to spread it between two slices of white bread, and I loved it. Haven’t had deviled ham in 10+ years, though. I don’t buy it now because I couldn’t cope with my husbands judgment lol

  25. Occams_Razorburn

They’re basically like any other kind of cheap pate but formed into a tiny weird flaccid wizard’s penis shape for your convenience

  26. Then-Temperature4223

I can slam 6 cans of these before most people get one open.

  27. Unlucky_Kangaroo_137

In school we called those Hitler dicks

  28. sidhequeen

I remember eating these as a kid, sliced up with ketchup on the side, with a tooth pick as the utensil.

  29. Emotional-Maize9622

Cancer causing carcinogens in a can.
Has a nice ring to it.

  30. ignorantslutdwight

the libbys version in the red can is my fav!! the best thing to do is fry them up in some ketchup and eat it with some toasted white bread

  31. I got made fun of in elementary for bringing these to school. The experience mortified me, especially since I am minority. But now I love these more than ever! No shame!

  32. an_edgy_lemon

I’ll never understand people who genuinely enjoy Vienna sausages. They just taste so off.

  33. SerRaziel

My mind, likely to protect itself, has abandoned the knowledge of what these taste like but the emotion still remains.

  34. PoopiePantsMahn

I like to eat crackers with my vienna sausages. Next time i go to the store I’m gong to buy some.

  35. TrouauaiAdvice

They’re not as good without the juice. Whenever I have a can, I woud pour the juice over rice as a struggle meal.

  36. MrPanda663

    Egg, Rice, and Vienna Sausage.

    Love it.

No rice? Dinner roll. Vienna Sausage sandwich.

  37. Rad_Dad6969

I’m right there with you. There must be some genetic mutation that makes me love these disgusting things so damn much.

    Just nasty. Slimy nasty

  38. freelans326

Dat texture! Divine. And it smells like gerber’s baby food lol.

  39. This was my big time snack as a kid from my grandmother when i was over. Its not right its not wrong. Dont wanna try today and be disappointed almost 40 years later.

  40. donefuctup

I liked these as a very young kid, but I’m afraid to try them as an adult
